Vinny, the author of drum instruction book "Rock Steady" and DVD "Hard Rock Drumming Techniques" has performed incredible powerhouse drum clinics around the globe as well. Numerous books have been written about Black Sabbath and Dio with the authors always mentioning Vinny's unique powerful drumming style!
“Drum Wars” was created with older brother drumming legend Carmine Appice. This show is tearing it up everywhere. The first time the brothers performed together was in 1992 at a few drum clinics in the U.S. Now this is a Rock Drumming Show featuring music from the history of bands the Appice’s have played with, as well as drum solos, comedy, and a massive drum battle finale that really EXPLODES!!

Vinny’s heavy band Kill Devil Hill featured mega bassist Rex Brown (Pantera/Down), vocalist Dewey Bragg, and guitarist Mark Zavon. The band released their first SPV records CD in June 2012 and played dates in the US and Europe including 6 shows opening for Alice Cooper.
Formed in 2012, Last in Line is an American heavy metal band featuring former members of the original lineup of Dio. The band's name comes from the 1984 Dio album "The Last in Line." They are Currently touring and recording their second CD.
